NOTICE TO MEMBERS – July 15, 2008 – WEBSITE RECONSTRUCTION

 

The SSPO Website is undergoing reconstruction.   Over the past four years there have been numerous revisions/upgrades to the software originally used to create this Website.  Web Hosting Services are now using the latest updated version of this software on their server platforms.  Unfortunately, the newer version of the software is not totally compatible with the scripting of the older version.  Therefore the ability to update/maintain this site has been seriously impaired, and many links within the site will no longer display/function properly.    During the past 6 months efforts to eliminate these software glitches have met with little to no success, so the decision has been made to simply rebuild the site using the latest version of the software.  It is anticipated that design and construction will be completed sometime this fall.  The new Website will include many enhancements that focus on servicing those members in good standing.  Members will be alerted by e-mail just prior to the launch of the new site.
