Income Fund appoints Colin Osborne as new president and CEO
OAKVILLE, Ont. (CP) - Vicwest Income Fund
(TSX:VIC.UN), a maker of construction products and building supplies, has
appointed Colin Osborne as its new president and chief executive.
The change is effective Oct., the company
said late Thursday. Osborne has 20 years of broad experience in the metals and
manufacturing industry, most of it in senior operating and general management
positions at Stelco Inc., one of Canada's biggest steelmakers. He was formerly
chief operating officer of the Hamilton steel company.
Vicwest makes metal roofing, siding and
other metal building products as well as oil storage tanks as well as steel
containers to store grain and fertilizer.
The company has 15 plants and 1,000
employees.
