NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

WHEN: Thursday, October 26, 2006, 7:00 pm ----- Doors open at 6:00pm

WHERE: Hamilton Convention Centre, Wentworth Room A, 1 Summers Lane, Hamilton

The annual membership meeting is being held in accordance with the SSPO By-law. Members are encouraged to make every effort to attend to receive a first-hand update on the latest events from your Board of Directors. Spouses/Partners welcome. You will be afforded the opportunity to ask questions. If you have not yet joined please come and register at the door. We need your support!

Agenda items will include:

§ Receiving the financial statement for the financial year ended June 30, 2006 and the auditor’s report thereon. Appointment of auditors for the 2006-2007 financial year.

§ Receiving and considering the 2006-2007 financial budget.

§ Report of Directors on the activities of SSPO and other matters of importance to members since the March 22nd membership meeting: Incorporation, Pension Advisory Committee, Proposed Pensioner’s Federation, Unilateral reduction in health benefits by Stelco Inc.

§ New Business
