Purpose:

To update all Stelco salaried pensioners and SSPO members on the latest turn of events in the CCAA process.

It has been 20 long months since Stelco first declared insolvency and sought bankruptcy protection and we are now nearing the final chapter. Recently a number of events have occurred which give rise to many serious concerns.

Please make every effort to attend this important meeting to hear our counsel, Murray Gold and Andrew Hatnay of Koskie-Minsky LLP review and interpret the events of the past few months, discuss where we are in the negotiations and talk about future issues. Microphones will be available to take questions from the floor.

The meeting is open to all salaried retirees and/or their spouses/partners and members of the SSPO.
